I teach all levels of ability on saxophone, flute and clarinet.  My students range from the 8 year old saxophone student beginning their musical journey to the 80 year old flute student returning to a long lost passion.  I work with the entire spectrum of students, from adults picking up the instrument for the first time, to working professional musicians to the high school student preparing for conservatory auditions.  My approach is always suited to the students' goals and interests.

Work ethic is more important that any 'talent' a student possesses.  I instill in all of my students a reasonable practice schedule that works with their daily life.  We work together to make a plan that achieves musical goals whether that be a song, audition prep, composition, etc.

I am available for lessons as well as masterclasses, talks and panels.  I have presented masterclasses on saxophone and jazz education throughout the country.  Currently all teaching is virtual, unless it is a special case in the greater NYC area.

I am a faculty member at the Brooklyn Music School as well as the forthcoming Bob Mover Academy of Music (coming 2021.)
